Munchs War coming out June 2006

Today in the news Mascots attacked a giant bear wearing clothes.
Also in the news:
David Williams has produced a trailer for the upcoming MUNCHS WAR.

Thats right.
Munchs war has been split into 2 parts due to an unknown fact.
This means that it may not go down that well on NEWGROUNDS.COM but it'll still be posted there as two parts.
Because of the possible comments mess putting it on newgrounds ive made a guestbook that you will be able to comment on after you've watched the terrible flash.

Keep watching

Today in the news soggy paper is to be dried in the sun, if there is no sun heaters do not work. Grab two sticks and make fire, once made fire be careful not to burn paper. Hold paper over burning flame. When flame rips through wood throw it away in case the burning of hands. If paper does not dry, buy a shredder and some new paper.
Also in the news:
"Prince Harry's life story is set to be turned into a Bond-style action film, according to reports."

Sorry, what?

"The British Royal is third in line to the throne and known for being an Army officer by day and a bit of a 'playboy prince' by night, with his stunning girlfriend Chelsy Davy and glamorous lifestyle.

And it seems Hollywood types reckon his life story will make a great movie, following the success of Oscar winner The Queen, about Harry's granny.

"This film could be huge," a source told The Star. "Girls would love it because Harry has become a bit of a pin-up for the way he parades in his uniform. And lads would love it because of the thrills, spills and beautiful ladies which have featured in Harry's life."

And while there's no named film-company attached to the project yet, the script is written and casting is already underway. The source added: "There have already been auditions of Harry lookalikes, although they had to rewrite the script after he was pulled back from Iraq."

If you're looking for a Harry look alike, look no further.

I'm just giving the most interesting news out there, something else amazing occured.
"Reality TV chef GORDON RAMSAY's life is set to be turned into a movie. Film rights of the fiery cook's autobiography Humble Pie has been sold - and Ramsay already has an idea of who he would like to take on the lead role. He says, "It would be a tough part. Russell Crowe is a favourite actor of mine - we get on very well." But he concedes, "We'll have an early insight into the script but the cast's got nothing to do with me. In many ways I don't want it to be anyone well known as I'd like an actor to be discovered on the back of this. "

The Daily Crumb went to interview Gordon:
Is it true your life is going to be made into a feature length film?
- What the **** are ******* talking about you ******* Crumb!??!!?
Yes.. Will it be a James bond type film?
- ****

Not much else on that.

Mountain artwork and Paskon Flair

Today in the news vsm upi trsf yjod

Also in the news Laura Williams released another MIND BLOWING piece of work. Once again another challenging painting.

(We're sponsored by her)
Check it out below. (Click on it for more detailed version or view it at deviant art)

Description: Mountains in north wales in the snowdonia area
My first landscape so be nice
Tools: cintiq 21UX, photoshop CS2
time: no idea... 5 hours?

The Daily Crumb attempted to interview her, but got a gate in our face. So next we dressed up as characters from Star Wars and pretended we were from Wikipedia.
The monkeys were dressed as Storm Troopers and were finding it hard to hold the microphone so all we have is this written report.
What got you into painting?
well it could be when I found all my dads art stuff from when he was in college it could be when my older sister gave me the cartoon book by preston blair. I was about 10 I think and I remember drawing rabbits on the way to my great aunts funeral in the car. I was really sick by the end of the day from going down winding roads and not looking where the car was goin
Painting digitally started on brackenwood and was mainly inspired by the work of Humbleego
Do you mind the monkeys?
they stole my chocolate, next question
Who inspires you?
"was mainly inspired by the work of Humbleego"
I'm inspired digitally by Daniel Dociu who's done concept art for A LOT of games including Guild Wars (go look at his gallery). I'm also inspired by Comlock, Humbleego, Espen, Adam Philips and a few others I can't remember right now but especially Espen as he's around my age and I'm crazy for his fantasy setting though, like Espen. mainly I like taking things from the past and adding a modern feel to them.
of a futuristic feel
What do you look at when referencing a picture?
I have the photo on photoshop, double the width of the canvas and work next to the reference photo so I can refer to it every time I need to check how the lighing works. You can see how I do it in my doctor comparison and a few others
You say you like the fantasy style, planning to do any paintings of that sort in the future?
I simply HAVE to paint a Jedi! I'd also like to create my own fantasy setting though, like Espen. mainly I like taking things from the past and adding a modern feel to them.
of a futersitic feel. but yes there'll be some fantasy stuff when I get more confident with my human anatomy, perspectives etc (which I'll be working on this summer)
Woo look forward to a Jedi!
Those monkeys arent real stormtroopers, they're just dressed up. Does that scare you?
Yes, no one should dress up as a storm trooper and not actually be one. It's hard enough figuring those guys out when they're not stabbing you in the back and following the Sith instead. DAMN YOU STORM TROOPERS!
Anything else?
Thanks for your time Cap'n Laura Williams.

You can find Humbleego and Espen at
Look forward to next week when Monet gives us a visit.

Paskon Flair

Now some of you may remember years ago i owned my own forum. Check out the remains of it here.

Whilst i was there i created a nice language to learn for people who dont want to learn.

It was titled the Paskon Flair.
All it is, is you write everything normally on the keyboard but one key right. Then to read it, you obviously read one key left.

Wikipedia facts: (May contain Spoilers) A keyboard language. Another title for it is, 'Doogna'.

Above ^^ (,shov")

Right of the key , is M

Right of the key S is A

" " H is G

" " O is I

" " V is C

" " " is !

jo (Hi)
jpe t i? (How r u?) (Question marks are used normally)
P, hpppppf (O Goooood)
hppf hppf (Good Good)
So on....

The Daily Crumb
Yjr Fso;u Vti,n

Its the simplest language on the internet. Apart from the one you know already. ie:

Internet Explorer. Also useful for hiding what you're saying from people with others though thats rude so dont do it. WARNING: The language is actually THAT simple that after a while a person might teach themselves anyway from what you've written.

The bite, of a lethal Ozzy pie

Today in the news Rolf Harris eats a rats insides and blames it on Monet.

Also in the news:

"A woman and her baby survived a shark attack in knee-deep water at a popular Australian holiday beach"

Now, thats not a laughing matter but dosent that shark know Australia loses tourists to building up reports of deadly Ozzy animals.

Evil killer spiders in your bathtub, hanging over the toilets, jumping out of the shed. Sitting in your vegemite, making over seas calls. Climbing in your clothes, hanging over your head and BITEING YOU.

Three days later you're stone dead.

Actually... thats all true. But dont let it put you off.

Ok,now lets have a look at Australia's most deadly animals.

The Box Jellyfish

Irukandji (A Jellyfish)

Salt Water Crocodile

Blue Ring Octopus

Stone Fish

Red Back Spider

Brown Snake

Tiger Snake

Great White Shark

Funnel Web Spider

And i have seen, about three of them. Most commonly the Red Back spider.

Walking into the country of Australia and finding a red back spider on your shoulder is only as dangerous as someone in America buying a gun off of a police officer.

Actually, talking about walking into australia...

Flys everywhere.

Well in the right season anyway. Aussies tend to splatter dead fly and mix them into their warm mud soup.

People and Crocodiles

Meat, cooking on the BBQ

Living in the desert

2/4 correct.

i wont say which ones.

So dont be afraid of Australia.

You know, it wants you

(Except Americans)

All in all

Today in the news:

A judge admitted on Wednesday he was struggling to cope with basic
terms like "Web site" in the trial of three men accused of inciting
terrorism via the Internet.

"The trouble is I don't understand the language. I don't really
understand what a Web site is," he told a London court during the trial
of three men charged under anti-terrorism laws.

The 59 year old judge said, "I haven't quite grasped the concepts."

Munchs war continues to be animated.

Whilst another short film idea may be produced called, "Accident Prone." More on that later

Waterlollies, the next juicy Brackenwood production

Today in the news a man lost his sense of humour. He laughed at the thought.
Whilst Adam Phillips struggles on the Daily Crumb would like to advertise his next animation.
You can find Adam's recipes at
Heres his frontpage screenshot of the upcoming Waterlollies.

Can you guess what these are?
(Posted on 'Waterlollies Update' thread)

(A flash screenshot posted on Mr. P's blog.)

(A shot posted on the news page:)

These were found on a recent interview:

(Sorry about the size differences. Remember you can click on each image to get the full size.)

Adam Phillips quotes:
"However, I'll do my best to animate at least one or two Waterlollies scenes each day. Currently, the movie is exactly 1/3 complete so if there are any further delays, I'll seriously consider releasing the first third (which is about 2 min in duration). "

"Aside from that, I'm thinking my upcoming Brackenwood short 'Waterlollies' is already looking like the best one so far because I've combined all the best elements from previous movies. Highly detailed landscapes, more water effects, lots of floating camera work and a very high drawing-count making the character animation more fluid. It's going to be very difficult for me surpass, next time around."

"I'm not sure how long I can keep doing this Brackenwood thing for free. Currently I'm lucky enough to have Newgrounds sponsoring my movies now which really helps me out, but I'm going to have to get serious about pitching my ideas to production companies and studios."

"After Waterlollies I'll need to top up my savings with a freelance job or two, then I'll probably spend more time on developing the Brackenwood feature film. I've already done some work on the plot outline and art direction and it's a lot of fun to work on so it's something I really want to do."

Today in the news IT'LL FLY!

Tony Blair has decided once and for all to quit the place of PM in the UK. He says he much rather enjoys the pleasures stand up comedy gives him.

So long Blair

"I ask you to accept one thing: hand on heart, I did what I thought was right."

He followed this with

"Believe one thing: if nothing else, I did what I thought was right for our country."

and then

"Becoming friends with George Bush, was wrong. i hope the country accepts that."

But then said

"The Daily Crumb have stuck Gordan Brown in a cabinet. God bless you Crumb."

You've seen Tony doing live stand up havent you, what did you think of it?

Gascandles back for revenge, or is he?

Today in the news woosh bucket snipe traffic warden ouch.
Remember a few millenniums ago a Tom Benfall came to our attention stealing a selection of Arj and Poopy cartoons. ( and some other amazing works from Bernard Derriman. (
It came to Brackenwood forums attention, you can find the thread here.
He stupidly posted his address.
So me and my mate Joseph who happened to live in the area went out with a little survey.
Well i looked up his good old msn address again and gave him a real Daily Crumb chat.
Chat was Gascandle:
Gooooood Morning, do u know who this is?
One of the f**s that tried to embarras me but failed?
Who then?
wrong again soldier! well, im one of the 'cool guys' that succeeded in trying to embarrass you.
I was never embarrassed, And if I was, I forgot about whatever you did that day

Our comedian stands proud

Today in the news Arancabite.
Yes thats right the UK have hit election time.

Tony Blair spoke to the Daily Crumb.
"There is no way i could win this battle, i'm fine with it though. I've been in office long enough already now. I always have my stand up comedian job to fall back on."
"Well, us at the Daily Crumb want you to win, you've got big ears. And our monkeys like that in a PM. We're suggesting maybe not one of you can win it, maybe TWO of you."
So we shoved old Blair into our custom home made CLONE MACHINE.

Theres no way he can lose now!

Sorted. Elections over
Now its time for some lemon flavored cake with
The Daily Crumbs Skype Sketch 2 with once again guest star Adam Phillips

Click for larger version.
I think we've found our

Adam Phillips:
Work by Adam Phillips with toilet humour:
Night Shift:

"A little accident..."
Prowlies at the River:

"Bingbong pee's in the river in which Bitey is swimming"
Green Cat: Mong

Weight Lifter:

"He's got a whole new weight now"

"Washed away."

Adam Phillips spoke to the Daily Crumb:
"The vampire one WAS actually based on a personal experience."
"And will there be any toilet humour in the future of Mr. P Animation studios?"
"Well the Brackenwood MOVIE is based on one giant toilet humour based joke. See what happens is Bitey is down by the river, and he farts. And Bitey has a powerful fart, how else do you think he moved so fast in Yu Yu, anyway he.............."

Inside a toilet

Today in the news, Bloternary Trifal Gouch.
Also in the news Lee Evans joins the cast of Spiderman three.
The Daily Crumb Skype Sketch 1:
With guest appearance from Adam Phillips.

Now me and Matt Menhenick were exploring youtube and came across

And here are some examples of THE YUTUBE MISERABLE VLOGGER.

Losserdude speaks miserably about how he may have to leave youtube.
Now Losserdude speaks about how he's BACK and he's quit college. And we REALLY want to know! I should recommend biteybiteybitey makes a vlog actually.
and now, WOW! It's 'lonelygirl15' (Meant to be one of the most viewed 'vloggers' on Yutube talking about drunk people.
And then one day someone on youtube lost their biscuits. Losserdude was the first with sympathy.
"Just.. love the new biscuit."
So i thought, maybe i should join in the video logging game, well, maybe for just for a one off.

(may not work if you're an early viewer)

- Nathan (munch) Viney

Oh, ya gotta see this. Losserdude complains about a haircut.
